
Savannah, TN - It's going to be a heartbreaking day for Savannah's K-9 Sanctuary owner, Sally Burnham, when the doors shut for the last time on the dogs she has rescued and created a shelter for. Burnham recently had to file Chapter 13 bankruptcy and if the home sells, she and the nearly 70 dogs will have to vacate the property. "I can live in my car. It doesn't matter to me. These dogs can't live in my car," said Burnham. "As humans, we will adjust. It's the dogs I'm worried about. And that's the bottom line. I am worried about every one of them on the yard." All of the dogs at the no-kill sanctuary were given a second chance at a good life and were all were strays, surrendered, or rescued.
