Whether you are a Bret Michaels fan or not, you will definitely want to check out the new line of pet products he is designing and launching exclusively with PetSmart in 2012. As a pet enthusiast in addition to being a singer/songwriter, Bret Michaels is giving pet owners a glimpse into the commitment he has towards his own family, which includes two dogs of his own. The “Bret Michaels Pets Rock Collection” will include toys and accessories, giving your dogs and cats the chance to show off their rocker personalities!
The collection will be available in the more than 1,197 PetSmart stores in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, as well as online at www.petsmart.com. “Our pet parents have told us they want unique, high-quality products for their pets that are also fun and reflective of their personalities,” said Matt McAdam, vice president of merchandising for PetSmart. “Adding the Bret Michaels Pets Rock collection to PetSmart stores enables us to continue to meet our pet parents’ needs with a ‘cool’ line of products from an entertainer with a demonstrated passion for our four-legged family members.”
PetSmart asked Bret Michaels to design this line of pet products mainly due to his recent reality shows which enabled viewers to learn about his partnership with the American Diabetes Association. The goal of his partnership was to raise funds and awareness of diabetes, of which he himself is a lifelong victim.
“As a musician who loves animals, I’m thrilled to be collaborating with PetSmart to create the Bret Michaels Pets Rock collection,” said Michaels. “As a dedicated pet owner myself, this is a natural partnership for me, and I can’t wait to unveil the collection. I know my own pets rock, and I wanted to design a line of pet products every bit as fun and cool as they are.”
We don’t know yet what we’ll find with his new collection, but pet lovers all across the nation are waiting in anticipation to see what he came up with!

I adopted my rescue dog Ginger one year ago today. She was a breeding bitch in a puppy mill. I went to a Pet Smart to get her presents. I saw a training collar from Bret Michaels & was disappointed there were no adult collars. I always get her name tags to match her new collars. I saw Bret Michaels “Pets Rock” tag & got it. My dog ROCKS! The real kicker is that it is made in the USA. Cudos to you Bret!! Thanks.
