Monroe, CT – Solid Gold Health Products for Pets has lent support to The SPCA of Connecticut animal shelter with the largest donation of pet food ever made in Connecticut. Solid Gold has donated an amazing 43,375 pounds of Sun Dancer dry dog food!
“Our friends at Solid Gold® have donated $1 million dollars’ worth of its super premium chicken and fish dog food product, Sun Dancer™, to fifteen animal rescue organizations across the country. The SPCA of Connecticut is dedicated to finding loving homes for every animal entrusted to their care. The SPCA receives no local, state, federal government or ASPCA funding, and relies entirely upon donations to cover its annual operating expenses. Since its inception more than 12 years ago, The SPCA has placed over 8,200 dogs and cats into loving homes.
