Have you ever wanted to show off your dog but felt it may cause people to stare and point – in a not so good way? Is there something so special about your pup that deserves to be seen, and maybe even win a prize for? Well, all of the proud and happy dog owners in the Lehigh Valley are jumping up and down with excitement for the Charity Pet Parade, being held at the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley on Saturday, April 30th, starting at 11:00am.
This yearly event is expected to be even better than last year, with top prizes being awarded for the best dressed dog, the most creative costume, and a pet/owner look alike contest! Prizes will consist of a QNB prize pack, as well as other Promenade prizes. Owners and their dogs can register in front of Paws to Tail at 11:00am, with a special goodie bag being given to the first 100 registrants. The registration fee is $10.00 cash per parading dog and all proceeds will benefit the participating Animal Shelters.
The parade will begin at Paws to Tail with the judges located in Town Square near Starbucks (this is where you’ll want to make sure your pups are showing off their best look)! The awards presentation will be held at 1:30 in the Patio Food Court, during Yappy Hour, which can only be described as the yappiest hour of the day!
Yappy Hour will actually begin at 1:00pm and is the first year for this fun event where you’ll find drinks and small snacks for you and your dog at these participating restaurants at the Promenade Shops:

Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory: FREE Dog Treat Samples and 10% OFF Dog Bones, plus a FREE Fudge sample for Dog Owners ~ Buy one pound of fudge, get 1/2 pound FREE.

What better way to spend a Saturday than to either participate in or watch the Charity Pet Parade! It is sure to be a fun family event that if you play your cards right could have you winning the pet/owner look alike contest and going home with prizes for both you and your furry friend!
