Culver City, CA – Splash Central’s Grand Opening is on Saturday, March 24, 2012, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with Dog Swimming Demonstrations, Dock Diving Demonstrations plus a Special Appearance by Bardot the Diving Dog, featured on Animal Planet’s “Who Let the Dogs Out?” show. Everyone is invited to come see the pool and there will be refreshments and giveaways.

Doggie Central has been serving the community since 1998 and Faith Mantooth, Owner of Doggie Central, directed the building of the pool for dogs. “We wanted to be able to provide swimming as an additional service to our daycare and boarding clients,” said Mantooth. “We are excited about offering swim lessons and water playtime at Splash Central.” “Dogs of all breeds, ages and dispositions can benefit from swimming.  Our above-ground pool is 35 x 12 x 4 feet.”

“We have also created a fun environment and a facility where dogs and their owners can learn about the sport of ‘dock diving,’ a competition for dogs.”
